As a young child you don't always understand humour, but you absolutely know when someone is inherently funny. Sam was always funny and he always made you feel like he was telling the joke just for you. As I grew up I understood just how wicked his sense of humour was- you could see the joke twinkling in his eyes. Pat and Sam are in so many of my childhood memories as they were simply always there.
